Nicholas Scott Warner was born August 10, 1993 to Scott and Nikki (Busiahn) Warner in Redwood Falls, Minnesot. Nicholas was baptized at Middle Creek United Methodist Church and confirmed at First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls. He attended Kindergarten through 6th grade at St. John’s Lutheran School in Redwood Falls. He then attended Redwood Valley Middle and High School where he had completed 9th grade. He played basketball while at St. John’s and played football at Redwood Valley. Nick was diagnosed with diabetes in 2003. He took it in stride, although he would get frustrated with the day-to-day hassle of it. He was an awesome help to his mom and dad and the three of them enjoyed farming together. He was an excellent worker with his dad in the lawn maintenance and snow removal business. Nick’s real passion was riding and jumping his 4-wheeler in any weather out at the farm and down at Gold Mine. He especially enjoyed getting himself and his 4-wheeler as muddy as he could. Nick looked forward to getting his driver’s license and was always trying to find the perfect truck. Nick loved his hats, Fox clothes and cell phone.  His phone was his constant connection to his friends.

Little kids were drawn to Nick and he took the time to make them feel truly special. His cousin Melody called him “Prince Nick”. Nick enjoyed going for drives along the river bottom and fishing with his mom and dad. He always looked forward to deer hunting with his dad and cousin Alex. He loved spending time with his cousins and friends. Nick meant the world to his family and all his friends. He will be dearly missed.

Nick is survived by his parents Scott and Nikki Warner of Redwood Falls, grandparents: Ramona Warner of Redwood Falls, Tony and Connie Busiahn of Belview, and his Great Grandma Beatrice Iverson of Belview. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Teresa (Jeff) Schmidt and children Kyle, Eric, and Alex of Hutchinson, Tina (Dale) Filzen and children Emily, Katie, and Melody of Renville, Trenton (Steph) Busiahn of Fairmont; and many other relatives and friends.  Nick was preceded in death by his Grandpa Kenny Warner, Great Grandpa Marvin Iverson, Great Grandma Irene Busiahn; and his dogs Sammy and Schitzy.
