Curtis L. Vien Curtis Vien, age 88 of Livermore, CA, formerly of Redwood Falls passed away on July 19, 2009 in Livermore. Due to Curtis’s wishes no public services will be held at this time. Vien was born on May 18, 1921 in Havre, Montana to John and Ida (Dutseth) Vien. He attended Montevideo High School and California College of Mortuary Science. Curtis was united in marriage to Doris Long on February 14, 1943. He served in the United States Army from 1943 until 1947, when he was honorably discharged. He lived in Redwood Falls, Minnesota where he was a medical representative for Wyeth Laboratory for 35 years. Doris passed away on April 14, 1996 and Curt later located to Sioux Falls, SD, then to California. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
