Dominick Joseph Bruns, 5 month and 4 day old son of Shaun and Becky Bruns of rural Danube, unexpectedly went home to his great grandparents on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the Redwood Area Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to services on Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Olivia Cemetery. Dominick Bruns was born on October 28, 2007 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota to Shaun and Becky (Frank) Bruns. He entered the world full of joy and laughter. Dominick was baptized on December 2, 2007 at the Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls. He loved bathtime, music, and his stuffed animals; especially his pony, “Flash”. Dominick enjoyed his swing, going for walks, being bounced and getting little kisses. He loved his grandparents and enjoyed visiting all of his family and friends. Dominick looked forward to getting his “ba-ba” from his Daddy at bedtime. He was the happiest baby and enjoyed making people smile.

Dominick is survived by his parents: Shaun and Becky Bruns of rural Danube; grandparents: Mike Bruns of Olivia, Jolene & Tim Briard of Gaylord, Tony Frank of Willmar, and Barb Frank of Danube (Patrick Malone, special friend). He is also survived by his great grandparents: Arlene Baumgartner of Olivia, Andrew & Lavern Bruns of Danube, Myron & Elaine Frank of Willmar; great great grandmother Dorothy Rodel; aunts and uncles: Michael & Shane, and Lindsey Bruns, all of Olivia; godparents: Tina Rettman, Michael Bruns, Brenda Frank, and Doug Knight; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother Liz and great grandfather Joe.
